I have provided counseling for over 25 years, after graduating from the University of Utah in 1994 with a Masters in Educational Psychology, counseling emphasis. I am licensed as a Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Idaho (License number: LCPCS-3689). Additionally, I have a certificate as a Counselor Supervisor through the Idaho Board of Occupational Licensing.
Beyond providing individual and family counseling, I have experience working in a variety of settings including: Outpatient clinics, substance abuse treatment, family law and drug courts, hospital acute treatment programs and in residential treatment programs. I have also worked closely with psychiatrists, physical medicine providers, attorneys, wilderness treatment programs and educational consultants.
Prior to my training in counseling, I was a credentialed teacher of high school social studies. I am a US Army veteran.
